Take for example, having a hobby such as gardening or quilting can help to keep our minds busy and avoid thinking about the things that may cause us stress. Sports activities are also a great as they can allow us to have fun and stay fit at the same time. Coping with anxiety can also mean going out with friends and loved ones to hang out and talk about happy things.

There are lots of things we can do in order to stay away from stress and fight anxiety. Although we may have the option to run off from the things that currently gives us stress, it does not solve the root of the problem in the long run as we are likely to face new stressful situations in the future. Thus, it is important to be able to engage in different activities that would allow us to prepare ourselves in facing stress head on.
